Catching up with patients, learning about their lives, and fostering long-term relationships makes each day enjoyable.”
After college, I moved to New York City and worked as a financial analyst at Goldman Sachs. Within the first year of my job, I knew a career in finance would not provide me with the job fulfillment for which I was looking. As a child I always knew how much my father loved his job; he described being a top rated dentist as the perfect combination of science and engineering, technical skills, and interpersonal interactions. I applied to dental school on gut instinct, and it was the best decision I ever made.
I enjoy visiting local elementary schools during National Children’s Dental Health Month and participating in local community service events. I have visited the Robin Hood School for almost 20 years!
Outside of Lund Dental, I am extremely busy with my 3 children Caroline, Dave Jr., and William (named for my father Dr. William Lund) and my husband Dave. I love arts and crafts, including scrapbooking, sewing, and cake decorating and spending time with my large extended family in Falmouth on Cape Cod.

Dr. William C. Lund, General Dentist

“I love what I do! It is very fulfilling working with our patients. To see people smile when they haven’t for years. To have someone tell me that they can finally have lunch with their workmates and not be embarrassed. To fix someone’s smile and watch them cry with joy. Then it’s little things like sharing stories about our lives.”
I started my working life employed by Bell Labs in New Jersey as an electrical engineer. That didn’t last long, as I changed careers to dentistry, and the rest is history. Outside of the office, my life is full. First and foremost I have my wife, my best friend and the love of my life. Our 2 children are a constant source of pride. Then come the 3 grandchildren who bring joy wherever they go. I am truly blessed.
For fun I enjoy boating, golf, travel, and the honey do list that never ends. As a volunteer I spend time taking care of a 44 slip marina in Falmouth, and am a founding member of a non-profit group dedicated to maintaining patient choice against the onslaught of insurance companies.

While growing up in nearby Reading, MA, I always knew that I wanted to work in the medical field because I loved the idea of making people feel better. I also enjoyed art and working with my hands so dentistry has been a natural fit.
In my spare time, you will often find me outdoors with my husband, 3 children, and dog. I enjoy traveling, the beach, exercising, skiing, and watching my children’s sporting events.
